Yanagiba (sashimi) knife with a beautifully mirror-polished blade and a black ebony shiromaki (white-speckled) octagonal handle. The blade is made of VG-10 steel, which is highly resistant to rust and easy to maintain. It has a solid weight that makes it easy to handle and it cuts very well.
This is a discounted item sold as-is: some iron powder appears to have entered the handle during assembly, so it makes a slight sound when shaken strongly. This does not affect use, and it is more than sufficient for home use.
