Are these items new or used?

Almost all are vintage or antique — pre-owned Japanese craft, art and everyday objects. Each listing describes the piece and its era. We frame age and use as character; where something has meaningful wear that affects use, we say so.

How do I read the condition of an item?

Read the description and study the photos — they are the truest guide. These are old objects with histories; small signs of age are normal and, to most collectors, part of the appeal. If you have a specific question about a piece, ask before you buy.

What does shipping cost?

Nothing extra — shipping is free worldwide and already included in the price. See Shipping & Delivery for delivery times and customs information.

Which countries do you ship to?

Most of Europe, North America, Asia, the Middle East and Oceania. We do not currently ship to South America, Africa, or within Japan. If your country is not offered at checkout, it is outside our current range.

How do I pay?

Securely through Shopify's checkout — major credit and debit cards, and supported digital wallets. Prices are in euros (EUR).

Will I owe customs or import tax?

Possibly — import duties and taxes are set by your country and are the buyer's responsibility. They are not included in the price. Ask us first if you would like to know what to expect.

Can you find something specific for me?

Often, yes. If you collect a particular maker, craft or kind of object, tell us and we will keep watch on your behalf and offer pieces privately when they surface. Get in touch with what you are looking for.
