This is a limited edition of 50, printed on Hahnemuhle paper (Natural White).
Emi Sato is a Japanese printmaker known for copperplate (mezzotint) prints and pencil-watercolor works, often depicting cats, animals, and plants. She graduated in 1993 from the Design Department (Space Production Design) of the junior college division of Musashino Art University. After graduation, through a mentor's introduction, she worked as an assistant printer at a copperplate printmaking studio, Hanga Kobo Utsushi, from 1994 to 2000, where she became acquainted with the medium. Since 1996 she has continued to present her work through several solo and group exhibitions and events each year. She has been selected multiple times for the CWAJ Print Show and the British International Miniature Print Exhibition, reflecting sustained recognition in printmaking circles.
