A shiromuku bridal kimono (shiromuku) in pure silk, featuring four-seasons floral motifs and a phoenix as the subject. The hem bears a diamond (hishi) pattern and four-seasons florals, with a phoenix rendered in partial embroidery soaring over the woven design.
Condition: Good. Not new; inspected, though very inconspicuous loose threads and similar may have been overlooked.
The silk has a characteristic soft, slightly pink-toned finish, giving a gentle impression. Beyond formal bridal wear, it is also well suited to photography, kimono-dressing (kitsuke) practice, and remaking, among other uses.
