A kashi gusoku (loaned armor) from the Muromachi to Azuchi-Momoyama period, bearing the Janome Kuyo (nine-star) crest. Loaned armor of this type was not produced during the peaceful Edo period.
Armor of this kind is scarce, with only a few examples displayed at the Saitama Prefectural Museum and regional museums. It retains its original condition from the period without major repairs.
