Mori Mitsuo (born 1955) is of the Tsugaru lineage, having studied woodwork under his grandfather Mori Hidetaro and his father Mori Shinichi. He changed the name inscription by period. These Tsugaru kokeshi were made to commemorate the three Koshino sisters depicted as kokeshi, inspired by the 2011 NHK morning drama "Carnation."
