A framed mezzotint copperplate print titled "Ohayo" (Good Morning) by Emi Sato, printed on Hahnemuhle paper (Natural White). This intimate work captures a small creature and the tender, everyday scene of exchanging a morning greeting when eyes meet. The print is a limited edition of 50.

Emi Sato is a Japanese printmaker who graduated in 1993 from the Design Department (Spatial Design course) of the Musashino Art University Junior College. From 1994 to 2000 she worked as a printing assistant at the print studio 'Utsushi'. She has been selected multiple times for the CWAJ Print Exhibition and the British Miniature Print Exhibition, and in 2004 she co-authored the book 'Tokoton Neko Hanga' (Cat Printmaking) together with Akiko Ikeda, Takashi Ono, and Mao Yamaguchi. She specializes in mezzotint copperplate printmaking, often depicting cats and small animals in intimate, everyday scenes.
