A Kutani ware vase in Hekimei-yu (blue-clear) glaze, crafted by Tokuda Masahiko, the third-generation Tokuda Yasokichi, who was designated a Living National Treasure of Japan. The porcelain body is finished in a deep blue tone characteristic of his celebrated glaze work, suited for a single stem or a small arrangement, among other uses.
