A silk (shozai) uchikake bridal kimono woven by Kawashima Orimono of Nishijin, made with fuki-wata padded hem tailoring. It features a karaori weave with a flying-crane (tobitsuru) motif on a black ground accented with gold thread, suited for wedding ceremonies and shrine bridal wear.
Kawashima Orimono, founded in the Meiji era, became the first domestic maker appointed as a purveyor to the Imperial Household Ministry, and is regarded as a top brand renowned for its technique, quality, and original design.

Condition: There is a stain on the back of the left sleeve and tears at the shoulder peak and sleeve peak, as shown in the close-up images. Otherwise there are no notably conspicuous stains or soiling, and it is in very good condition.
