A pure silk iro-uchikake bridal over-kimono. The deep navy-blue ground is decorated with a design of long-tailed birds and four-seasons flowers, worked in multicolored embroidery of red, orange and green together with gold and silver foil. The lining is a woven fabric of vermilion and gold with a family-crest ground pattern. The auspicious long-tailed birds and the colorful seasonal flowers create a luxurious formal piece.
Fabric: pure silk. Body lining (douura): pure silk. High-tech tailoring. Wide collar (hiro-eri). Sleeve widening not possible. Body length is measured from the shoulder. Suited for formal occasions such as weddings and receptions.
