An iro-uchikake, the ornate outer robe worn over kimono for a Japanese wedding, Shinto-style ceremony, or bridal photography. Richly decorated with abundant embroidery, this piece features a karaori (woven brocade) design of peacocks, folding fans, and floral motifs in a vermilion red palette. Much of the detailing is hand-sewn, making it a delicate and finely crafted garment.
