Copper flower vase (hanaire) in the shimokabura (turnip-shaped) form by Ichinose Sochin, a Japanese traditional craft piece. It was received as a celebratory gift and initially kept on a display shelf.
It has never been used to hold flowers, but there is slight scuffing on the base from when it was displayed. The surface is somewhat dulled; as the proper polishing method is not known, it is offered in its current state.
Dimensions: Height approx. 28 cm, longest diameter approx. 11 cm
Includes: Tomobako (matching wooden box) and an explanatory note (shiori).
Condition: Slight scuffing on the base; surface somewhat dulled.
Please refer to the photos for the item's current appearance and condition.
