The first half presents works by 14 tattoo artists in photographic plates, the middle section introduces nishiki-e prints by Utagawa Kuniyoshi and others that served as tattoo designs, and the latter half contains texts on the history, culture, design and medical aspects of tattoo, comprising a volume of over 250 pages.
