A furisode (long-sleeved formal kimono) by the world-renowned fashion designer Kansai Yamamoto, bearing his signature mark. It is made of pure silk in an awase (lined) construction, decorated with butterfly and geometric motifs rendered in gold thread and gold leaf on a black ground. The furisode is the formal first-rank attire for unmarried women, suitable for coming-of-age ceremonies and celebratory gatherings.

It remains in good condition for a reuse item.
