Finely and carefully woven bamboo flower basket (hanakago) with an openwork weave, made by the craftsman Chikusei Watanabe. The base bears the maker's name. This is an over 40-year-old piece with a delicate, understated presence that remains beautiful even without flowers arranged in it. It has handles on both sides.
The vase inside is ceramic and is not the original insert that came with the basket.

Condition: An old piece from over 40 years ago, in fine condition with no notable signs of age-related deterioration.
