Seki Magoroku Ginju Hongane Deba Japanese Knife 165mm AK-5204 Carbon Steel

The Seki Magoroku Ginju Hongane deba is a traditional Japanese knife forged in Seki, Japan. The blade is made of a carbon steel composite, combining hard carbon steel with soft iron that is forged together to create a strong blade offering both keen sharpness and ease of sharpening. A wet flat-front edge finish is applied using a very fine whetstone with water, allowing a delicate edge while avoiding hardness loss from frictional heat. The natural wood handle fits comfortably in the hand.
