A Japanese-style deba knife by Sakai Genkichi, made in the Sakai tradition of blade craftsmanship. The blade is forged from carbon steel (hagane) for excellent strength and a sharp cutting edge, with a natural wood handle. Its solid weight makes it well suited for breaking down whole fish, among other tasks. Made in Japan.
